This session will give you tips for writing stories for newsletters or blog posts. You will be shown how to use AI tools to help you write articles that will appeal to your community and improve your communication with your audience.
In this session you will cover –looking at the range of social media platforms available, identifying your audience and the social media platforms they use, writing captivating headlines, considering your newsletter/blog post content, SEO for newsletters/blog posts, publishing methods for your newsletters/blog posts.

Canva is an online graphic design tool that uses templates and design ideas to help you make social media posts, newsletters, flyers, presentations and posters. It can be shared by your organization and several people can work on the same project. It is a quick way to produce professional looking graphic content and this half day session will guide you through the basics of how to use it.
In this session you will cover – using graphic elements to appeal to your audience/community, planning your posts, setting up brand kits on Canva, using Canva’s templates for different platforms, adding your images and video to your posts, using Canva to create moving GIFs, using Canva for newsletters.

Are you nervous of using the new AI tools available? While there are definitely some pitfalls in using AI many of the applications can save you time and help you create more engaging content and comms. This session will introduce the key AI tools and get you experimenting with text-based tools.

This session will go through the basics of using your phone to record, edit and upload creative images and film for your social media and web sites. You can use whichever phone you own, and we will go through useful apps and techniques to make appealing content.
In this session you will cover – using your photos to produce social media content with text, voice-overs and music, planning a longer video project, using your video to make short posts, content for websites or short films for your organisation, adding sound/audio/voice-overs, adding text and graphic elements, adding captions, the different formats for different social media platforms, exporting your film for uploading to different platforms.

Do you need a video for your organisation’s website, social media or YouTube channel but can’t afford to hire a production company to make it for you? This course will be held over 4 workshops, 2 online and 2 in-person in order to help you produce your own video production.
We can help you plan, produce and edit a short video to promote your organisation, record an event or promote your activity. All you need to start is a phone and a laptop. Using free to download software will look at adding text, voice-overs and music and exporting your film for uploading to different platforms.

This session is for anyone using Canva who would like some advice or help to use this tool. Contact us to discuss any issues you have been having and we will try to help you achieve your goals.
